De X4 Carbon Fiber Acoustic heeft veel van de kenmerken van de X2 & X3, maar het meest opvallende verschil is het klankgat. Offset klankgaten die dichter bij de gitarist zitten projecteren het geluid beter naar de speler terwijl het geluid naar het publiek niet wordt opgeofferd. Het gecompenseerde klankgat fungeert ook als een soort EQ die het middenbereik kan verbeteren. Ook inbegrepen is het Enya AcousticPlus pickup systeem. Met behulp van een ingebouwde actuator, neemt het AcousticPlus systeem de snaartrillingen en versterkt ze om chorus en reverb effecten te creëren vanuit het instrument zelf, zonder externe effecten of versterking. Gitaren van koolstofvezel zijn ook beter bestand tegen deuken, krassen of barsten dan hout, en zijn veel beter bestand tegen temperatuurschommelingen of vochtigheid. Als je op zoek bent naar een gitaar die consistent goed klinkt, geschikt is voor verschillende speelomstandigheden, en ook nog eens beschikt over een geweldig klinkend pickup systeem, dan is de X4 Carbon Fiber een goede keuze.
