It's the product of a genuine collaboration between Cream Guitars and E Ink, hand-built in Mexico around the brand's ergonomic Voltage body and finished with a dynamic ePaper surface that lets players change colours and patterns instantly, with no repainting required.

The Technology

At the heart of the DaVinci is E Ink Prism 3 — the same low-power, non-emissive display technology used in architectural and product design — repurposed here as a fully programmable digital skin for the guitar's body. The surface only draws power when it's actively updating, making it considerably more efficient than an LED-based system, and giving players the freedom to switch up their look song to song, or night to night.

The Craftsmanship

Every Cream Guitars instrument is built by hand in Mexico, and the DaVinci is no exception. Underneath the display technology sits the brand's precision electronics and proven Voltage body shape, so the guitar doesn't trade tone or playability for spectacle.
